A NOTE FROM CURATOR CLAIRE WAYMAN:
After 10 years of displaying local art and participating in the Arts Council of the Valley’s First Fridays events, the Wilson Downtown Gallery has closed.
The Harrisonburg Homes Team housed the Wilson Downtown Gallery in the Kline May building at 83 S. Main Street. At the beginning of March 2024, the Harrisonburg Homes Team changed brokerages, and are now with Nest Realty. With that switch, we also had to move offices.
Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to continue the gallery at our new office. I loved being the curator, getting to know the artists, and helping to coordinate all that goes into running a gallery space, and being surrounded by beautiful art during the workday.
I want to thank all of the artists and visitors for making the Wilson Downtown Gallery such a thriving art venue in downtown Harrisonburg!
