Claire Wayman serves in the role of curator and gallery manager for the Wilson Downtown Gallery, as part of her job as Marketing Director for the Harrisonburg Homes Team, part of Kline May Realty. She graduated in 2013 from Juniata College in Pennsylvania with a degree in History and Museum Studies. She has worked at the Juniata College Museum of Art, interned at the Musical Instruments Museum in Brussels, Belgium, and combined her love of acting and museums while interpreting at the Genesee Country Village & Museum. She moved to Harrisonburg in early 2014. She has a passion for all things local and especially loves being able to highlight both new and experienced local artisans in the gallery. In her free time she enjoys participating in local community theater and playing her flute in area groups.
